GRoW Steering Committee

The GRoW (Gender Responsive Organisation Work) Steering Committee is an international initiative that COWE participates in to promote gender inclusion and equity in entrepreneurship and organizational ecosystems. The committee is composed of global experts, institutions, and grassroots organizations working together to ensure that gender sensitivity is embedded in policies, programs, and business practices. COWE’s role in the GRoW Steering Committee allows it to influence international dialogue on gender-based challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, including access to capital, gender bias, limited market access, and safety concerns. Through its involvement, COWE brings the Indian perspective to the table while simultaneously learning from global innovations in gender-sensitive business design, monitoring, and evaluation.

The committee also helps COWE design gender-inclusive toolkits, codes of conduct, and training modules that can be applied across its network. The outcomes of this partnership include better policy recommendations, more inclusive enterprise development strategies, and global visibility for Indian women-led SMEs. In turn, COWE is better positioned to advocate for systemic changes in public and private sectors and support its members with cutting-edge, inclusive practices.
